BE ALIVE IN FIVE This Week's Lesson
FINDING YOUR SEED OF HAPPINESS
Sit with your eyes closed and relax. Think of something that has made you happy in the past. Or think of a flower you love to smell. Or think of a favorite food. Or your most beloved pet. If you cannot think of a past favorite thing, find something present, for instance smell a fragrant flower or taste a food you love, or sit in your most comfortable chair. Just try to pay attention to the feeling that these things might bring up. Feel the feeling of comfort or peace or warmth or whatever good feelings come to you. Try to stay in this feeling for 20 seconds. That is all you need to start. This is your very own tiny seed of joy that you can learn to expand exponentially, day by day. Use this as part of your Be Alive in Five regimen. Use it every day!
